    Number 1 Product Of 2011

This was a really hard question for me but I'd probably say the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation, I use it every day :)

What Was Your Most Loved TV Show Of 2011?

Another hard question, but as I'm a reality TV junkie, I'd probably say this years series of I'm A Celebrity get Me Out of Here! I absolutely loved the conestants and was so happy that Dougie (from McFly) won and Mark Wright came second! They were both lovely guys, and from Essex which made it even better!

What Was Your Most Loved Song Of 2011?

Choosing one song is sooooo difficult! SO I'm going to do my own version of the question and do my favourite song from a male and female singer and then band! :D
    • Male Singer - Ed Sheeran - The A Team - What can I say? I absolutely adore Ed Sheeran, he's just so cute isn't he? He has such an amazing voice, and the lyrics are amazing!
    • Female Singer - Adele - Set Fire To The Rain - I'm pretty sure everyone knows and loves Adele, so she needs no introduction, but this song is absolutely amazing! I had it on repeat for God knows how long!
    • Band -  The Goo Goo Dolls - Iris - Now this song most certainly wasn't new to 2011 BUT it is one of my all time favourite songs, also as mentioned above I went to see the Wanted in August who did a cover of this song, which was amazing! The best atmosphere ever :) So there you go!

What Was Your Worst Decision/Flaw Of 2011?

I can't pin point any particularly awful decisions that I've made, but I'd say my worst flaw was probably over thinking things and worrying, especially when it comes to exams etc!

What Were Your Most Visited Websites Of 2011?
    • Facebook + Twitter - as are pretty much everyones!
    • Spark Notes - Unfortunately haha - having said that it really helps with my English Lit Revision :)
    • Tetris Friends - Okay fun fact, when I'm extremely bored I play tetris! Okay. Let's move on....
    • ASOS, TopShop, Lush, NewLook - I like online shopping :D
Let me know if you do this tag, I would love to hear all of you answers! I plan on doing a haul of some of the things I got in the Sales over the past few days so look out for that. Also remember that there is only two days to enter my Sleek Palette Giveaway! Until next time,

What I Got For Christmas :)

      Hi Guys!

I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas, and if you don't celebrate Christmas I hope you've had a lovely holiday season! I've had a lovely couple of days with my family, so I thought I'd share some of the gifts I got with you. I know everyone says it, but I am not trying to brag, so if you get offended by this sort of thing please click the 'x' now :) (I'll still love you haha!) So I'm going to jump right in!

Okay, so you might notice some similarities if you read my twin sister Chloe's Christmas post earlier today, as our stocking presents were very similar! I got, some slipper socks, a nail file, my favourite kleenex make up remover wipes and shine absorbing sheets (which are amazing if you've been dancing at a party, or if it's really hot outside!), some cute kleenex tissues, a mini nail polish remover and cotton wool pads, as well as, a cuticle pen, some Bic Soliel razors and a Max Factor handbag Heroes kit, which contains a gorgeous lip gloss and mascara :)

These next few presents are from my lovely sister Chloe! She got me a set of four vaseline tins, in orginal, cocoa butter (which smells amazing), aloe vera - which I'm going to save until summer, because it's amazing if you burn your lips -and trust me, I burn so easily!!! There's also a gorgeous pink rose tinted one :)
The second thing she got me was a Mac Lipgloss in Russian Red - I absolutely adore wearing red lips at the moment, so this was perfect for me!
Also seeing as my sister knows me so well and my nail polish junkie ways, she got me three OPI polishes (L-R Play The Peonies, Rally Pretty Pink, Be a Dahlia Won't You) They are all absolutely beautiful, and my rubbish photography and lighting skills do not do them justice! So if you want, have a look at swatches online :)

As you guys might have noticed there's a bit of a recuring theme with even more nail polish! The top are all 17 polishes from Boots, but the purple is a crackle top coat :) These are all from my parents!
The bottom set of Polishes are the 'Princess Mini Collection' from OPI containing: Bubble Bath, Alpine Snow, Pink-ing of You and a mini Rapi-dry top coat. This lovely set was given to me from my Mums friend :)

My Nan and Grandad from my Dads side of the family got me these two lovely gifts! On the left is a gorgeous hand made noticed board which I can't wait to put up! Next is my absolute FAVOURITE perfume, Boss Orange for Women :) It smells sooooooo good! I've already gone through one large bottle in the past six months so was in major need of a new one!

The lighting in this picture kind of sucks but I thought I'd share with you a couple of DVDs my parents got me. FUN FACT: I love love love, silly comedies, and my two favourites are the IT Crowd which is a British TV show so you might not all have heard of it, but I die with laughter :') So I got series 1 - 4! Secondly my parents got me the first series of The Big Bang Theory which is either a love it or hate it kind of show, but in my opinion it's hilarious!!

My lovely Nan and Grandad on my mums side of the family got me this gorgeous chunky knitted tan cardigan from New Look, it's so warm and cosy! LOVE.

Once again a recurring them. Candels. I love candels. Which is why I got 4 (the one from my friend is once again not shown - I've already burnt it :') The top candel is in Madagascan Vanilla and smells soooo nice! Vanilla scents are some of my favourites, so my lovely Nan and Grandad got me this giant candle in addition to my cardigan! :) On the bottom left is a set of 12 Yankee Candle tealights from Chloe, in the scent 'Honey and Biscuits' they smell so nice it's unreal! The second set was a gift from Chloe's lovely boyfriend, in the scent Christmas Cookie - they also smell very vanillary so a big winner with me!

My Mum and Dad got me a pair of ghd stylers as one of my main presents, and I love them :) In the past I've always borrowed my Mum's or Chloe's but as I'm going to uni in the new year (eek!) I thought it was about time I got a pair of my own! They also came with a heat defence spray which is currently somewhere in my drawers!

My final present from my lovely parents was a pair of Chocolate Brown Tall Classic Ugg Boots! I know that they are a bit of a love - hate thing, but personally I love them!! They are so comfy, a warm and personally I think they look cute haha!

So that's it for my Christmas presents! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and let me know if you do a post like this one! I love having a nose at what other people got :)

I also noticed that I over use the word lovely LOL! Too late now though :)

      Mini Christmas Haul :)

      Hi Guys!

I thought I'd do a quick little post today to show you a few things I got as gifts and something I purchased myself (naughty Hannah it's Christmas!!!) If you follow me on twitter you might have noticed that I tweeted about Mini Christmas lastnight, which is actually a tradition that myself, Chloe and two of our school friends have had for the past four years, where a few days before Christmas we go to one of our houses and exchange presents, aswell as playing silly games and other Christmassy bits and bobs! (I even made my friends Christmas crackers with a piece of make up and chocolate coins inside!!) Me being my usual forgetful self forgot to take pictures of the crackers and also the meal I had with my college friends, where we did a secret santa! I got a lovely grey knitted scarf and a really cute Christmas pudding mug (incase you were wondering!!)
Any way onto todays presents! :)

The first gift I got was this nail polish set from one of my lovely friends! It includes a lovely pearl, pink, dusky purple, teal and dark purple :) I'll let you guys know which colour I like best when I try them out! This was the perfect gift for me as I'm a total nail polish junkie!

The second gift I recieved was the Higher Shower Soap & Glory Gift set. This contains a full size Clean Girls Body Wash, a gorgeous shower cap and shower puff, a full size Mist You Madly Body Spray and a full size The Daily Smooth Body Butter! I may or may not have told you guys before but I adore the scent of Soap & Glory products, also they are amazing quality - so good job to my friends! Lastly I also got a lovely smelling candle which I have not taken a picture of for some reason.... haha! The final thing I actually purchased for myself when I was in town this morning in New Look -

Now I know what you're thinking, 3 days before Christmas probably isn't the most appropriate time to be buying things for yourself! BUT I think it was justified as these lovely little shoe boots cost £7!!!!! £7? Which were reduced dow from £24.99 They are so comfortable and go really well with simple skinny jeans or tights with a dress or skirt. I think they are casual enough for everyday wear but can also be dressed up! There were so many lovely shoes on sale today but I limited myself to one pair, although after Christmas I may have to buy some more......

      That's all for now :)

      The Versatile Blogger Award

      Hi guys,

So after a long day at work yesterday with some irritating woman getting her pram caught on my blouse, then subsequently pushing the pram and ripping the top(!!!!) I came home to a lovely surprise that the wonderful  Ellie from had awarded me the Versatile blogger award! I would just like to say thank you, I really appreciate every single person that reads my blog and comments - it makes my day :)

      So here are the rules:

      1. Thank the person who nominated you and give them a shout out on your blog with a link to their blog.

      2. Share 7 random facts about yourself.

      3. Send on the award to 15 other bloggers whose blogs that you appreciate and then let them know that they have won the award.

So here are seven things you might not know about me (this feels like a Miley Cyrus song!!)

      1) Since Year 7 I have had to wear glasses permanently, I thought I'd mentioned this, but realised that all of the pictures of me only my blog are from parties or nights out with contact lenses - so there you go I'm blind as a bat!

      2) I know all of the lyrics to pretty much any Taylor Swift song ever - test me ;)

      3) My biggest fear is frogs. Seriously. Heights, water, snakes, spiders I'm fine, but put a frog infront of me and I WILL run a mile haha!

      4) When we were about 7 my twin sister Chloe, my cousin and I started our own band and wrote our own songs - cool kids I know haha! Unfortunatley we had to split after 2 years due to management issues with one of our other cousins haha! ;)

      5) I have never dyed my hair or used fake tan - I'm too scared I'll look tangoed!

      6) Christmas related fact - In primary school (Elementary school) we learnt how to sing Silent Night in sign language and I still remember it - exciting I know!!

      7) My biggest claim to fame is seeing Joey Essex in Tescos haha!

And here are the lovely girlies I would like to give the award to!

      1) Chloe - My twin sister who made me creat a blog in the first place -
      2) Lauren -
      3) Alona -
      4) Ariel -
      5) Perdi -
      6) Matcha -
      7) Lola -
      8) Alma -
      9) Danielle -
      10) Gazzy -
      11) Barby -
      12) Hannah -
      13) Christie -
      14) Soph -
      15) Mihaela -

I look forward to reading your posts!

Autumn / Winter Tag :) and Giveaway Update!

      Hi Guys!

As of about two hours ago I have finally finished college for 2011 (woo!), well not exactly I have all of this reading to look forward to:

Exciting stuff I know! But for now I thought I'd take a break and do a tag created by Fay Burmingham on Youtube called the 10 Random Autumn/ Winter Question Tag!  I thought it was a really cute tag so let me know if you guys do it!

      1. What item of clothing do you love to wear in winter but wouldn't be seen wearing it in public?
That would be my favourite Christmas socks that my sister Chloe got me last year with giant snowmen on them!

      2. Most wanted item for autumn/winter?

I love chunky knitted cardigans and jumpers, especially ones in Topshop!

      3. Favourite boots to wear in winter?

Currently these boots from newlook are my favourites to wear! They go with pretty much anything and I can wear the zips done up or undone :) You might remember them from my haul a little while ago, they we're only £25!

      4. Are you a fan of UGG boots?

I know that they are a love/hate type of item, my sister hates them but me and my mum love them! (I borrow hers all the time!) I'm actually getting a pair for Christmas so yes I am a fan!

      5. Its snowing/raining outside, what are your favourite wellies to wear?

To be perfectly honest I don't actually own a pair of wellies currently, or atleast I don't think I do haha! I suppose I should buy some :)

      6. What is your favourite autumn trend?

I love love love autumn and winter colours, especially browns, tans and deep reds! Not really a trend but the colours are lovely.

      7. What is your typical winter/autumn day consisting of?

Unless I'm at college it usually consists of meeting friends, watching films, shopping and drinking hotchocolate in the warm! Also alot of my friends have been turning 18 at this time of year, so a few parties and meals out too :)

      8. Cup of tea, hot chocolate, or coffee?

I don't actually like tradition english tea - shocking I know!! But I do like fruit teas, I also drink some coffee but only really lattes, frappacinos and mocha. Although hotchocolate is my favourite! I LOVE the options hazelnut hotchocolate!

      9. Do you like or dislike that it's starting to get dark?

I'm indifferent really, I like that the evenings seem longer, but I don't like the coldness that comes with it!

      10. Christmas is coming, do you have any idea of what you want?
As I said a pair of UGG boots, and hopefully some GHD's as I always use my Mum's or my sister's, but as I'm going to Uni next year I'll need my own haha! :)

I hope you all enjoyed this tag! Comment below if you do it too :)

Also don't forget to enter my Sleek Palette Giveaway which is interational by clicking here, just to remind you all, you must put the palette you want to win in your comment, and as mentioned in the post you cannot win the Me Myself and I palette as it is not available where I live! Product Love: Dove Go Fresh Pomegranate & Lemon Verbena Deodrant

      Hi Guys!

This is going to be a little bit of a strange post but I had to tell you how excited I was today! Last year I went on holiday to Florida with my sister Chloe, my family and some family friends, and when we went shopping in Walmart I found the Dove Pomegranate deodrant, which is pretty much my favourite deodrant scent ever!! However, I stupidly didn't buy any to take home with me because of packing and bla bla bla..... and as my lovely followers from the UK and the rest of Europe know, America seems to get all of the cool products waaaaaaay in advance to us! So for the past year and a half I've been waiting and waiting for this deodrant to come out - the body wash was already available (which I love too!)

SO! When I was walking around boots today with my friends, I saw the amazing deodrant and pretty much screamed infront of about 5 strangers! Needless to say I got one - AND I had enough points on my boots card to get it for free (Yay!) So if you want to smell like magic you can pop to your local boots, superdrug and possibly tescos and pick one up for yourself!

Here's the link for superdrug because for some reason it's not on boots!

Don't forget to enter my Sleek Palette Giveaway:

Sorry if this post was a bit OTT, I was just incredibly excited haha! Have a lovely day :)

      England :)
Which country would you like to visit that you've never been before?
I'd love to go to Australia! It looks amazing
      Favourite holiday?
Christmas without a doubt! I'm so excited, you'd think I was still 6 years old haha!
      Favourite chocolate /sweets?
I'm a little bit addicted to Maltesers <3
      Favourite TV show
I'm a reality TV show junkie so right now I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, The Young Apprentice , and as I'm from Essex - The Only Way Is Essex!
      Favourite book
I love love love the Pretty Little Liars series, but I recently chose to do my first piece of English Literature coursework on Breakfast At Tiffany's which is amazing! I also love The Great Gatsby :)

      Biggest Pet Peeve
When people chew gum really loudly on public transport!!!

      Favourite Singer
This is an easy one for me! Taylor Swift :) If you like Taylor Swift you should check out the lovely Roxanne Emery I'll link her YouTube channel here! She's not incredibly well known at the moment, she's a British singer who is currently supporting Joe McCeldry on his tour! Her music is amazing!  My favourite songs are Real and Don't, you guys should definetly check her out!
      Favourite Band
There's several bands I like at the moment! As me and my friends went to their concert in the summer, I'm going to say The Wanted! It was so much fun!
      Favourite Quote
As you guys have probably noticed, there's the quote at the top of my blog - “Be that strong girl that everyone knew would make it through the worst, be that fearless girl, the one who would dare to do anything, be that independent girl who didn’t need a man; be that girl who never backed down.” - Taylor Swift. I think this pretty much sums up the way I try to be in life, and the way everyone can be!

      Favourite Perfume / Scent
I love Boss Orange for Women :)

1 bit of makeup you couldn't live without
      Probably mascara!

The first bit of makeup I actually purchased myself was a pink lipgloss! I was obsessed with it haha!

Worst makeup mistake a girl can make!
In my opinion, the worst mistake a girl can make is buying the wrong shade of foundation, orange is never in!

      Any makeup tips?
If you're wearing glitter nail polish - which is a pain to get off - get a piece of cotton wool, soak it in nail polish remover, place it on your nail, then wrap it with tin foil quite tightly for 5 - 10 minutes! It comes off practically clean! :)

      Your biggest fashion disaster!
Ohhh probably some of the things I wore when I was a child - I had a purple velvet skirt and top with ruffles around the bottom, which I was obsessed with! Looking back at the photos not so much....

Are you more obsessed with shoes, bags, jewellery or clothes?
Bags! I buy way too many bags :')
Whose style inspires you the most?
Probably Lauren Conrad! She always looks amazing!

As boring as it sounds, neutral colours like browns, beiges and creams haha!

Mini Nail Polish Haul - NYC

      Hi Guys!
Some of you might know that my college is right next to our town centre - which means lots of shops! Well on Mondays I don't start til half past one, which means I tend to shop while waiting for my friends haha! So today I quickly popped into superdrug and got a few NYC nail polishes. I've never actually tried them before so I'll let you know what I think when I try them out :) All of them were £1.79 which I thought was really good even if they aren't the best quality!

Above is all three polishes with the flash switched on and below is with the flash switched off, right now it's pitch black where I live so I've decided to take swatches from google, these are not my own!!!

      1. Fashion Ave Fuschia
I absolutely love this colour, I think it's really girly and a nice way to wear pinks in the autumn and winter months! Personally I think the colour is a bit darker than the picture above, but either way it's cute.

      2. Manhattan
One of my favourite colours to wear in autumn is dark purple, I think it's a bit less harsh than black, and I thought this polish was a beautiful colour. I'm so excited to try this one, as I think it goes with so many outfits.

      3. Bowery Black
I was automatically drawn to this colour, it's like a silvery, greyish black and looks like metal! I thought this was one of the more unusual colours! I love love love it!
Sorry that this was only a quick post! I've been superbusy preparing for mock exams and other college and Christmas bits and bobs! (I got a couple of university offers today :D ) Anyway, I hope you're all well, I will try to post more often soon! Which is your favourite out of the polishes?

      My Hair Care Routine

      Hi Guys,
Long time no speak, well a week! But I'm sorry, college is getting a bit crazy at the moment so I haven't had much time for blogging! I went shopping today to buy my Mum and Chloe's Christmas presents, but I can't really post that as they'd see! So I thought I'd let you know about my hair care routine!

I don't usually stick to one shampoo and conditoner, but at the moment I have been loving the Body Shops Banana Shampoo and Conditioner, it smells gorgeous and makes my hair feel really clean and soft!

Once a week I like to give my hair a bit of a treat, as I usually style my hair with straightners or curling tongs I thought I'd try out the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle - Reconstructer Deep Conditioner. Let me tell you, it is AMAZING if there's one product that I recommend you try out of all of the ones I'll show you this is it! My hair automatically feels thicker and moisturised!

Now on to after i've washed my hair! While my hair is still damp, before I dry it, I like to use a couple of drops of the VO5 Miracle Reconstructer, it smells amazing aswell as making my hair feel less frizzy, and helping my split ends!

If I am going to straighten my hair I love to use the Tresemme Salon Sleek Smooth Memory Straightening Spray, it contains Argan Oil which really helps to smooth out my hair (which is incredibly curly!!!) and whenever I use this product my hair stays straight all day!

If I'm having a curly or wavy hair day, I like to use the VO5 heat protect styling spray! It works really well and can take heat up to 230 degrees!

What are your favourite hair care products? Let me know!

Newlook, LUSH, Paperchase and Book Haul, and something extra :)

      Hi guys!
Sorry I haven't posted all week, it's been a bit hectic as my university applications have just been sent, and I've had a ton of homework / coursework!!! Anyways, I went shopping with my Mum and Nan today so I thought I'd do a little haul of the things I got :) There are a couple of Christmas presents too!

The first thing I got was these boots from Newlook which were £24.99 I love boots like this in the cold weather!

One of my friends absolutely loves the Union Jack and British things, so I got her this notebook from Paperchase which was £7.00, it's a sort of canvas material which feels really nice!

I was also in The Works before college on Friday as my college is next to my town centre! I absolutely love the Pretty Little Liars books, and saw that they has The Lying Game by Sara Shephard for £1.99!!! If any of you gys have read it let me know what you think :)

One of my favourite things about Lush is the Christmas gifts! I'm not sure which one of my friends I am going to give it to, but I absolutely love this 'Have a Sweet Christmas' gift set which contains the Candy Mountain Bubble Bar and Angels Delight Soap, which both smell lovely :) It costs £5.95 and is beautifully wrapped!

Once again I met some lovely, helpful Lush staff who gave me two Honey Bee Bath Bombs for free!!! (Amazing right?!) Usually when there is a dent or something has fallen off they keep back a few for free :) Another reason why I love Lush!

The next thing I got was the GingerBread House Bubble Bar which I have never tried before! It smell absolutely gorgeous like a gingerbread man basically haha! It costs £2.95 :)

The final thing I got from Lush was the Melting Snowman Bath Melt which was only £1.95 and if you like marzipanish (not a word Hannah!!!) smells then you will love this :) One other thing I never noticed before was that there is real chocolate chips inside!

The final item I got is probably the most important, if you live in the UK you'll know that next Friday is Children in Need, they are selling these wristbands in Greggs, Boots and a few other shops for £1, they come in white with multicoloured spots, blue with multicoloured spots and black with gold spots!I will be wearing mine alla week, I think they are really cute! If you can spare a pound then this will really help so many children :) Atleast 65p in every pound will go to Children in Need!

I hope you've enjoyed this haul! Let me know if you have any blog post ideas :) Also what's your favourite product? Have a lovely weekend :)

      My Everday Makeup!

      Hi Guys,

I'm kind of getting used to this whole blogging thing now, so I thought it was about time I showed you my everyday makeup! I will link all of the products that I can find online! Here is a quick overview of everything :)

      Little Overview of Everything!

This is my Makeup Bag from Betsey Johnson! It's fairly big, I love how shimmery it is with the padded hearts! I actually got this from TKMaxx (TJMaxx in America) for £4.99 a few months ago!! Crazy right? The original tag said $35 as it was an import from the States so I don't know if it's still available!

Sleek Au Naturel Palette - £6.49
I absolutely adore this pallette, the colours are very neutral and wearable! I literally feel as though I would never need any other eyeshadows! My picture doesn't do the colours justice, but you'll be able to get a better idea by clicking on the link :)

      1. NYC High Definition Volume Mascara - £3.99
(I couldn't find a UK link for this) This mascra is SO cheap and it's possibly one of the best I have ever tried (And I've tried ALOT of mascaras!!) I'd definetly recommend it to anyone!
I love this eyeliner as I find it really easy to apply, as I wear glasses and have very bad eyesight applying eyeliner isn't always the easiest thing to do haha! I also love how pigmented this is!
I actually tend to wear this on my bottom lashes as I accidentaly picked up the waterproof one haha! I love love love this mascara though because it really seperates my lashes!

      (Left to Right)
I have actually done a review of both this and the normal Healthy Mix foundation if you want to check that out the link is here!
Not that this concealer needs an introduction, but I absolutlely love this! I find that it covers anything from blemishes to dark circles really well. You can probably tell that I use it all the time from how the writing has faded on the packaging!
I chose this powder as it is supposed to be for skin that is prone to breakouts, even though that stage has finally passed for me (Woo!) I still have combination skin so I find that it really makes my face feel shine free! I wouldn't necessarily recommend this for people with dry skin however.

I'm almost certain that the mjority of you will have heard of or seen this lipstick! I think the colour is beautiful and really wearable all year round!
      2. Prestige Skin Loving Minerals Blush (Pink) - Discontinued in the UK
I recently purchased this in my local Boots as all of the Prestige products were half price due to them being discontinued :( However, I love the colour which you'll be able to see by clicking on the link, as it gives a lovely glow!
When I feel like wearing lipgloss this is always the one I reach for! It's a beautiful pale pink colour that is subtle enough to wear as everyday make up!

Thanks for reading! Let me know what your everyday makeup essentials are!

      Stay Beautiful,
      Hannah x
