Mini Nail Polish Haul - NYC

Hi Guys!
Some of you might know that my college is right next to our town centre - which means lots of shops! Well on Mondays I don't start til half past one, which means I tend to shop while waiting for my friends haha! So today I quickly popped into superdrug and got a few NYC nail polishes. I've never actually tried them before so I'll let you know what I think when I try them out :) All of them were £1.79 which I thought was really good even if they aren't the best quality!

Above is all three polishes with the flash switched on and below is with the flash switched off, right now it's pitch black where I live so I've decided to take swatches from google, these are not my own!!!

1. Fashion Ave Fuschia
I absolutely love this colour, I think it's really girly and a nice way to wear pinks in the autumn and winter months! Personally I think the colour is a bit darker than the picture above, but either way it's cute.

2. Manhattan
One of my favourite colours to wear in autumn is dark purple, I think it's a bit less harsh than black, and I thought this polish was a beautiful colour. I'm so excited to try this one, as I think it goes with so many outfits.

3. Bowery Black
I was automatically drawn to this colour, it's like a silvery, greyish black and looks like metal! I thought this was one of the more unusual colours! I love love love it!

Sorry that this was only a quick post! I've been superbusy preparing for mock exams and other college and Christmas bits and bobs! (I got a couple of university offers today :D ) Anyway, I hope you're all well, I will try to post more often soon! Which is your favourite out of the polishes?

My Hair Care Routine

Hi Guys,
Long time no speak, well a week! But I'm sorry, college is getting a bit crazy at the moment so I haven't had much time for blogging! I went shopping today to buy my Mum and Chloe's Christmas presents, but I can't really post that as they'd see! So I thought I'd let you know about my hair care routine!

I don't usually stick to one shampoo and conditoner, but at the moment I have been loving the Body Shops Banana Shampoo and Conditioner, it smells gorgeous and makes my hair feel really clean and soft!

Once a week I like to give my hair a bit of a treat, as I usually style my hair with straightners or curling tongs I thought I'd try out the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle - Reconstructer Deep Conditioner. Let me tell you, it is AMAZING if there's one product that I recommend you try out of all of the ones I'll show you this is it! My hair automatically feels thicker and moisturised!

Now on to after i've washed my hair! While my hair is still damp, before I dry it, I like to use a couple of drops of the VO5 Miracle Reconstructer, it smells amazing aswell as making my hair feel less frizzy, and helping my split ends!

If I am going to straighten my hair I love to use the Tresemme Salon Sleek Smooth Memory Straightening Spray, it contains Argan Oil which really helps to smooth out my hair (which is incredibly curly!!!) and whenever I use this product my hair stays straight all day!

If I'm having a curly or wavy hair day, I like to use the VO5 heat protect styling spray! It works really well and can take heat up to 230 degrees!

What are your favourite hair care products? Let me know!

Newlook, LUSH, Paperchase and Book Haul, and something extra :)

Hi guys!
Sorry I haven't posted all week, it's been a bit hectic as my university applications have just been sent, and I've had a ton of homework / coursework!!! Anyways, I went shopping with my Mum and Nan today so I thought I'd do a little haul of the things I got :) There are a couple of Christmas presents too!

The first thing I got was these boots from Newlook which were £24.99 I love boots like this in the cold weather!

One of my friends absolutely loves the Union Jack and British things, so I got her this notebook from Paperchase which was £7.00, it's a sort of canvas material which feels really nice!

I was also in The Works before college on Friday as my college is next to my town centre! I absolutely love the Pretty Little Liars books, and saw that they has The Lying Game by Sara Shephard for £1.99!!! If any of you gys have read it let me know what you think :)

One of my favourite things about Lush is the Christmas gifts! I'm not sure which one of my friends I am going to give it to, but I absolutely love this 'Have a Sweet Christmas' gift set which contains the Candy Mountain Bubble Bar and Angels Delight Soap, which both smell lovely :) It costs £5.95 and is beautifully wrapped!

Once again I met some lovely, helpful Lush staff who gave me two Honey Bee Bath Bombs for free!!! (Amazing right?!) Usually when there is a dent or something has fallen off they keep back a few for free :) Another reason why I love Lush!

The next thing I got was the GingerBread House Bubble Bar which I have never tried before! It smell absolutely gorgeous like a gingerbread man basically haha! It costs £2.95 :)

The final thing I got from Lush was the Melting Snowman Bath Melt which was only £1.95 and if you like marzipanish (not a word Hannah!!!) smells then you will love this :) One other thing I never noticed before was that there is real chocolate chips inside!

The final item I got is probably the most important, if you live in the UK you'll know that next Friday is Children in Need, they are selling these wristbands in Greggs, Boots and a few other shops for £1, they come in white with multicoloured spots, blue with multicoloured spots and black with gold spots!I will be wearing mine alla week, I think they are really cute! If you can spare a pound then this will really help so many children :) Atleast 65p in every pound will go to Children in Need!

I hope you've enjoyed this haul! Let me know if you have any blog post ideas :) Also what's your favourite product? Have a lovely weekend :)

My Everday Makeup!

Hi Guys,

I'm kind of getting used to this whole blogging thing now, so I thought it was about time I showed you my everyday makeup! I will link all of the products that I can find online! Here is a quick overview of everything :)

Little Overview of Everything!

This is my Makeup Bag from Betsey Johnson! It's fairly big, I love how shimmery it is with the padded hearts! I actually got this from TKMaxx (TJMaxx in America) for £4.99 a few months ago!! Crazy right? The original tag said $35 as it was an import from the States so I don't know if it's still available!

Sleek Au Naturel Palette - £6.49
I absolutely adore this pallette, the colours are very neutral and wearable! I literally feel as though I would never need any other eyeshadows! My picture doesn't do the colours justice, but you'll be able to get a better idea by clicking on the link :)

1. NYC High Definition Volume Mascara - £3.99
(I couldn't find a UK link for this) This mascra is SO cheap and it's possibly one of the best I have ever tried (And I've tried ALOT of mascaras!!) I'd definetly recommend it to anyone!
I love this eyeliner as I find it really easy to apply, as I wear glasses and have very bad eyesight applying eyeliner isn't always the easiest thing to do haha! I also love how pigmented this is!
I actually tend to wear this on my bottom lashes as I accidentaly picked up the waterproof one haha! I love love love this mascara though because it really seperates my lashes!

(Left to Right)
I have actually done a review of both this and the normal Healthy Mix foundation if you want to check that out the link is here!
Not that this concealer needs an introduction, but I absolutlely love this! I find that it covers anything from blemishes to dark circles really well. You can probably tell that I use it all the time from how the writing has faded on the packaging!
I chose this powder as it is supposed to be for skin that is prone to breakouts, even though that stage has finally passed for me (Woo!) I still have combination skin so I find that it really makes my face feel shine free! I wouldn't necessarily recommend this for people with dry skin however.

I'm almost certain that the mjority of you will have heard of or seen this lipstick! I think the colour is beautiful and really wearable all year round!
2. Prestige Skin Loving Minerals Blush (Pink) - Discontinued in the UK
I recently purchased this in my local Boots as all of the Prestige products were half price due to them being discontinued :( However, I love the colour which you'll be able to see by clicking on the link, as it gives a lovely glow!
When I feel like wearing lipgloss this is always the one I reach for! It's a beautiful pale pink colour that is subtle enough to wear as everyday make up!

Thanks for reading! Let me know what your everyday makeup essentials are!

Mini Lush and Forever 21 Haul - Westfields Stratford

Hi Guys,

Me and my sister Chloe decided to have some sisterly bonding yesterday and went to the new Westfields Shopping centre in Stratford, which is where the 2012 Olympic Stadium has been built! We both went with the intention of buying Christmas presents but that didn't exactly happen :') So I got a few things from Lush and  Forever 21 (Which is SO much better than the Oxford Street store!!!) I'll link all of the products so you can check them out :)

This is an overview of the things I got from Lush! I thought I'd try some bathbombs that I haven't tried before :) The bags are so cute for Christmas, they even have a space where you can write who the gift is to and from, if you are giving the products to someone as a present!

This is one of the Christmas bath bombs, and in my opinion it smells what I think of when I think of Christmas! It smells of Almond, Cinnamon and Orange, and contains popping candy to make it crackle and fizz! I'm so excited to try it out :)

Another Christmas Product that I couldn't resist simply because it looks so cute! This bath bomb smells of Marzipan which I love, and it's so inexpensive for a Lush product so I thoguht why not? I'm looking forward to trying this out on a freezing cold night!!

Honey Bee Bath Bomb - £2.95
As some of you might know one of my absolute favourite Lush products is the it's Raining Men shower gel, and I also love the Honey I Washed the Kids soap! So when I realised I hadn't tried the bath bomb version I HAD to buy it! I am ridiculousy excited to try this :) If you like honey and caramel I would definetly recommend you pick this up!

I saw this necklace and was immediately drawn to it! I loved the detail and the brown beads were such a beautiful colour with a hint of glitter in them! I actually got this necklace for £5.18 as there was a 30% off sale on ALL Jewellery! (How amazing is that?!) To be honest I wanted to buy so much more but I have to save for Christmas presents! Below is a picture of the necklace on, although I wouldn't wear it with this top haha!

I hope you like this haul! Let me know if you have any ideas for posts :)
Chloe and I had a great day shopping! If you'd like to know a bit more about us we did a sister tag!

Autumn/Winter Favourites - Nail Polish

Hi guys, it seems that the cold weather has finally set in here in the UK, even though I love summer, I love wearing the darker nail polishes, so I am going to share my Top 5 Fall Nail Polishes! The swatches are not mine, as I'm still getting used to the whole lighting situation! So here goes!

 1. H&M - Dust & Diamonds £2.99
I absolutely adore this gorgeous taupe colour, last year this was my go to polish as it was so cheap and applied really nicely! (Swatch Below)

2. Nails Inc - Hampstead Heath - £11
So the above picture is another example of my wonderful lighting! Anyway this is the perfect red shade for me, especially in the winter, as it's not too bright and not too dark.

 3. MAC - Rain Of Flowers (Limited Edition) - £9
My Dad actually chose this for me while on a business trip in the States, and I absolutely love it! The colour is described as a 'blackened violet' and it's beautiful. I actually recieved a couple of compliments from complete strangers at work when wearing this haha! I believe you can still buy this colour online :)

4. Sally Hansen - Plum's The Word £6.99
This is probably one of the most unusual solid colours in my nail polish collection, I think that it would flatter pretty much any skin tone! In the UK I believe these polishes are only sold in selected Boots stores and online, as I had to purchase mine in London rather than my local store. I'm glad I did though because this colour is so wearable!

 5. Essie - Chinchilly - (Price Varies online)
Chinchilly is a stunning greyish colour with a very slight lilac undertone (that might be just me!!) and one of my most worn polishes! I love the consistency of Essie polishes as I only need to apply two coats! I'd say the swatch below is possibly a little lighter than when actually applied.

What are your favourite Winter polishes? What's your favourite one of my picks and have you tried any of these polishes? Let me know :)
Also if you have any requests for posts please let me know!

Hannah x

Product HATE!!! - Nair Ultra Precision Facial Wax

Hi Guys,
Usually I don't like to share negativity but oh my god I had to let you guys know how awful this product is so you don't buy it!!! I used to get my eyebrows waxed regualrly at a beauty salon because quite frankly, I didn't like plucking them, which is what I do now. So when I saw that Nair had came out with this miracle eyebrow waxing kit I was all for it! The kit costs £5.99 which isn't super expensive but it's still £6 I could have spent on new nail polish or Lush! This is what the product looks like:

Basically you have to heat the wax tube in a cup of boiling water, squeeze some out onto the area where you wish to remove hair and then use one of the cloth strips to remove the hair, if some of the wax went into the wrong place it could be washed off. Simple enough right? WRONG! First of all the wax was incredibly sticky which I know wax is supposed to be, however, I actually found it very difficult and irritating to wash off. Secondly, when I pulled off the strip 2 hairs came out. Seriously. Only two. Despite the fact that I heated the wax longer than the instructions stated as the was hax not fully melted. I don't know about you guys but I will certainly not be re using this or repurchasing this product! In the future I will stick to plucking my eyebrows!!

Have you tried this product or any other eyebrow waxing kits? Let me know what you think of them! Would you like me to share anymore negative reviews of products? The next post will be alot more positive I promise :) haha!

Stay Beautiful,
Hannah x
